FOUNDING PRINCIPAL

Mosaic Realty Founding Principal Isaac Pretter focuses on direct investment in commercial real estate across the nation. Prior to forming the firm, he showcased his industry acumen by acquiring office and retail assets in the Baltimore metro area and developing residential townhouses.

Isaac began his career as a commercial real estate appraiser for the national appraisal company, Integra Realty Resources. After two years in that role, he worked as a development associate for a Baltimore-based real estate developer and then moved onto a position as Senior Associate at Fremont Investment & Loan’s Mid-Atlantic office. At Fremont, Isaac was directly involved in the origination, structuring and underwriting of over $1.4 billion in senior debt facilities secured by a variety of collateral, including condominiums, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, land development and office buildings. Upon the company’s commercial division's sale, Isaac pivoted to serving the new iStar administration as Senior Loan Associate, responsible for originating and underwriting complex loans and investments for real estate projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Isaac holds an MBA in Finance from John Hopkins Carey Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Talmudic Law from Ner Israel College. He lives in Northwest Baltimore together with his wife and 5 children and is actively involved in many aspects of the community.

FOUNDING PRINCIPAL

Mosaic Realty Founding Principal Eron Sodie centers his attention on direct investment in commercial real estate across the United States. Prior to forming Mosaic, Eron built a strong foundation of experience in the real estate arena, most recently as Principal of WCP where he focused on distressed commercial/residential debt and investment.

Eron began his climb through the industry in 1993, working on distressed debt opportunities and asset management for JE Robert Companies and The Archon Group in a joint venture with Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Funds where he performed acquisition and asset management duties on distressed whole loan/REO portfolios purchased from a variety of commercial banks, thrifts and life companies. Eron’s direct asset management responsibilities included a $100 million portfolio of Northeast office and flex properties purchased from TIAA where he formulated asset reposition strategies, budgeting, leasing and capital improvement plans. In 1988, Eron moved on to serve as Vice President, Regional Manager of Fremont’s Mid-Atlantic office. During his 9-year tenure there, he was directly involved in the origination, structuring and asset management of $4.0 billion in structured finance investments for large-scale real estate developments, and directly involved in over 100 transactions. He pivoted roles as Senior Vice President When iStar acquired Fremont’s commercial division of the office in July 2007, and oversaw the acquisition.

Eron holds an MBA from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of Maryland. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland together with his wife and 3 children.

Mr. Chris Huesgen is a Vice President of Mosaic Realty Partners where he focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management of the company portfolio. His background prior to Mosaic was a focus on underwriting and investments in office and retail product throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Huesgen previously served as an associate on Newmark’s Mid-Atlantic Capital Markets team, with a focus on retail investment sales. Huesgen joined that team in 2017 and partnered in the sourcing, pitching, underwriting, marketing, and closing for over $500 million of retail assets. Prior to his time at Newmark, Huesgen got his start in commercial real estate at Corporate Office Properties Trust. Here he underwrote various development and acquisition opportunities, while assisting with the disposition of over $200 million in office property. Huesgen holds a Bachelor of Science in Energy, Business, and Finance from The Pennsylvania State University. Huesgen is married and lives in Millersville, Maryland.
